Annette Presley: Entrepreneur – NZ Business Podcast 37

In this episode, I talk with another innovative and talented entrepreneur – Annette Presley. After growing up in South Auckland, Annette has gone on to achieve impressive success in business in both New Zealand and Australia.

Annette’s entrepreneurial acumen led to her being selected as a judge on the 2006 TV programme – Dragon’s Den.  With former husband Malcolm Dick, she built and sold two leading communications companies – ‘Call Australia’ and then ‘CallPlus’ of which sold in 2015 for $250 million.

In 2016 Annette was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business and women. Most recently she has been heavily involved with the charity she founded – ‘Elicit: The Dream Catching Academy’, which works to help young girls to change their lives by dreaming big.
